U7 Boys & Girls  Grassroots - 2021/2020

Participants in this program must be born in either 2021 or 2020. Boys & Girls will be split by gender. It features strictly in-house programming with one session a week. 

Parent volunteers are essential for each session to maintain a favorable coach-to-player ratio and ensure smooth program operations. There will be weekly sign-up sheets available online for volunteer positions. Those who fulfill their volunteer commitments by assisting with the program will not have their volunteer bond cashed at the season’s end.

U09 Boys must be born in either 2019 or 2018. We have two programs on offer for this age and gender. 

Please read from the two options below and select which option that best suits your child's interests and skill level when completing the registration process.

Option 1:  U09 futsal Co-Ed  (BRSA) (2019-2018)

Description: This program is suited to Players who may be newer to Soccer/Sports or those who are looking for less of a commitment to playing. One practice & one game per week, practices in Leduc with games in Leduc and throughout the Battle River District (Leduc, Calmar, Millet, Devon, Thorsby). Teams are Co-Ed (Boys/Girls mixed).

This program helps players build soccer skills, teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship while enjoying regular practices and games throughout the season. Community boarded soccer offers a balance of player development and friendly competition, giving athletes the opportunity to grow their love for the game while representing and their community.

Season:  October - End of Februray

  • If there is insufficient registration within this league/division, participants may be offered placement on a Futsal team in order to ensure adequate team numbers and program viability.
  • Team placement requests are not guaranteed. While the association will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests whenever possible, final team placement decisions are determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, roster sizes, player registrations, coach availability, player development considerations, and overall team balance.
  • Practice nights, game days, and schedules are considered tentative at the time of registration and may be subject to change with limited notice. Changes may occur due to field or facility availability, coach availability, league scheduling adjustments, weather conditions, or other operational requirements outside of the association’s control.
  • The association reserves the right to adjust teams, schedules, divisions, or program formats as necessary to support the overall operation and success of the program.
