BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING AS A COACH / Team Manager

Volunteering as a Coach / Team Manager is one of the most impactful ways to support our soccer community—and it comes with meaningful benefits.

When you step into a coaching role or Team Manager role, you will have fully satisfied your required volunteer commitment for the season. Coaching and being a Team Manager represents a significant investment of time, leadership, and dedication to our players and programs. In recognition of this commitment, volunteer coaches are not required to participate in fundraising activities or fulfill any fundraising obligations.

This exemption reflects the vital role coaches play in creating a positive, supportive, and development-focused environment for our athletes. Beyond the administrative benefits, coaching also offers the opportunity to build connections, develop leadership skills, and make a lasting difference in each player’s soccer experience.

How do I get involved in coaching or TEam Manager?

Leduc Soccer is run by volunteer coaches and Team Managers. These amazing volunteers are the backbone of our organization and without them, there would be no soccer program in Leduc.  All interested parties who want to be involved in coaching are asked to complete the Coach Registration or reach out to our Techincal Director, Jordan Jeffery at technical@leducsoccer.ca

DO I NEED TO HAVE COMPLETED A COACHING COURSE OR HAVE EXPERIENCE TO COACH?

Leduc Soccer welcomes all coaching volunteers, whether you're brand new to the game or have years of experience. Our volunteer coaches are the backbone of our program—without them, there would be no soccer in Leduc.

We’re here to support you every step of the way.
