Participants in this program must be born in 2021 (U05) or 2022 (U04) . It is a co-ed program for both boys and girls, held exclusively in Leduc.

Fundraising Commitment - Grassroots Raffle Participation
All Grassroots participants will take part in a Grassroots Raffle. A $50 raffle booklet will be added to your total at the time of registration.
Raffle booklets will be distributed within the first month of practice.
Volunteer Commitment: Parent Participate is Mandatory. Each player must have a parent or guardian with them on the field each practice.

Registrations from individuals residing outside of this region will be cancelled, and any associated fees will be refunded.
U7 is split into groups, U7 Boys & U7 Girls. Participants in this program must be born in either 2019 or 2020.

Description: Futsal is a fast-paced, indoor variant of soccer played on a hard court with Co-Ed teams with five players on each team, including a goalkeeper. The game uses a smaller, low-bounce ball, which promotes tight ball control, quick passing, and technical skill in tight spaces. With approx 20-minute halves and continuous play (limited stoppages), futsal encourages creativity, fast decision-making, and sharp teamwork, making it a popular training tool for developing soccer players.
This stream is for those who are looking to have some fun by playing Soccer but aren’t looking for anything overly competitive or time consuming. This is a good fit for those newer to Soccer or team sports in general or with some experience looking to continue their development.
This program tentatively has one practice per week & one game per week. Practice schedules are determined by the Technical Director & Board of Directors. Games schedules are determined by Edmonton Minor Soccer Association for Boarded & Battle River Soccer Association for Futsal.

Description: Boarded soccer, also known as indoor soccer or arena soccer, is a fast-paced version of soccer played indoors on a turf field surrounded by dasher boards, similar to a hockey rink. Each team is Gender - Based with typically has six players, and the ball can be played off the walls, keeping the game in constant motion with fewer stoppages. The enclosed field and turf surface emphasize speed, endurance, and physical play, making boarded soccer an exciting and high-energy variation of the outdoor game.
Games in Community Boarded are tiered 4 through 6 (sometimes lower, depending on number of teams). After each round (5 games typically), teams are retiered and a balance is tried to be found for the betterment of all Players. The re-tiering is at the sole discretion of EMSA & is not decided by LSA.

Description: This program is suited to Players who have already played in Soccer programs previously and are willing to commit to the additional training and coaching demands. The fee covers October to July. (Teams may start practicing sooner at their own discretion).
For the 2025/26 season, this program is a 10 month continous program. Players will not need to Evaluate after placement unless otherwise notified.
This Indoor season, U13-17 will train at Pro Turf Leduc (opens officially in November) weekly, U08-U12 will have sessions in Pro Turf Leduc where possible as well. Strength & Conditioning for U13-U17 will take place with AK Performance. U08-U12 will have monthly sessions with AK for Running Mechanics & other age appropriate development. Turf sessions will be supplemented with School Gyms/LRC sessions to keep costs lower.
Season: October to July.
